Since
\nthe checkered flag fell at New Hampshire, I knew this was coming, the off
\nseason. I am aware that it will be fairly short this year, but until February,
\nwhat is there to do?<\/p>\n
Fridays
\nare fidgety, with no qualifying to watch I re-read my Winston Cup Scene checking
\nfor any articles I may have missed. Saturdays aren’t any better. No Busch Series
\nrace, no Winston Cup Happy Hour. And I don’t even want to start on how torturous
\nSundays are.<\/p>\n
The
\nfirst full month without any NASCAR is going to be tough for some of you eat,
\nbreathe, sleep nothing but NASCAR type fans. Relax, I’m going to help you
\nthrough it.<\/p>\n
The
\nInternet is wonderful; there are many sites for nearly every driver in every
\nseries. I have spent a fair amount of time scanning NASCAR.com and the most on
\nthe ball NASCAR news site out there, Jayski.com. Jayski has nearly everything a
\nrace fan could need. The site even has a counter counting down the exact days,
\nhours, minutes, and seconds until the Daytona 500.<\/p>\n
For
\nthose of you who cannot live off of pictures alone, ESPN Classic re-airs past
\nraces every Saturday. Speedvision is also a great channel to turn to, shows like
\nNASCAR Tech from the 2001 season, are replayed throughout the week.<\/p>\n
If
\nall else fails, try watching the NFL. I know this may be hard for some of you,
\nit is much more different than a racecar speeding 195 mph through the
\nstraightaway. But, the commercials are helpful. You can often catch Dale Jarrett
\nrepeatedly refusing to drive the "big brown truck", Tony Stewart and
\nBobby Labonte racing boats, and Ryan Newman grabbing some lunch at Wendy’s.

The
\noff season, it’s always hard. The only way you can get through it is by biding
\nyour time. Scan a few websites, channel surf a little, and before you know it,
